How to get ready for a newborn photoshooot

First moments
The First Moments photoshoot is dedicated to the very first weeks of a baby’s life — I photograph children from 1 to 8 weeks old in a lifestyle and minimalist style. The focus is on the baby: close-ups, details, and natural moments. We also have time to take a few shots with the parents or older siblings.
Experience shows that babies under two weeks old tend to sleep more and respond more calmly to the session. But even if the baby is fussy, we will still receive beautiful, warm images — the most genuine photos often come from movement and being in their parents’ arms. The most important thing is not to worry.
Before the shooting
First Moments is a short photoshoot, and I try to find a slot within 1-2 weeks of your request.

Before the shoot, we'll discuss the plan and select key ideas.

You can show me your references—from my collection or other sources—in order of priority. This will help organize the shoot so the child doesn't get tired and the process remains comfortable.

We select clothing based on the selected references.

You can use your own clothes or borrow clothes from my studio wardrobe—at no additional charge.

After the shooting
Basic photo editing is included, but detailed retouching is not part of the package. If you wish, you can order additional retouching for selected images — it includes removing minor skin imperfections, evening out skin tone, and enhancing light, color, contrast.

The photos will be stored on GDrive for 1 year from the date of the photoshoot.
Please note that I do not do newborn sessions with baskets, and costumes and I don't wrap babies. It is important to me that the photos are safe, natural, and reflect the true emotions of the family.

Please let me know in advance what temperature you would like to maintain in the room — I will prepare the space beforehand.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask — I’m always happy to help.
